They're developing AI-powered technology that takes on time-consuming engineering workflows, allowing engineers to spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time solving the challenges that really matter.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend systems that support AI-powered applications across multiple customers.
• Develop and improve platform architecture, including APIs, data ingestion and multi-tenant systems.
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure, helping ensure systems are secure, reliable and scalable.
• Contribute to AI infrastructure, including retrieval systems and RAG capabilities.
• Improve the engineering experience through CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and development tools.
• Collaborate with the CTO and engineering team to solve technical challenges, make architectural decisions and shape the platform's future.

Requirements

• Strong experience in backend engineering, platform engineering or distributed systems.
• Experience designing and building scalable, production-grade software architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Experience contributing to architectural decisions and taking ownership of complex technical projects.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, observability and production infrastructure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where you'll have the freedom to make decisions and solve new problems.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in collaborating directly with engineering teams and customers.

Preferred Skills

• Kotlin, Python or similar backend programming languages.
• Experience with RAG, retrieval systems or AI infrastructure.
• Next.js, Vercel or modern frontend technologies.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or tools.
• Previous experience in a startup, founding engineering team or early-stage technology company.
